Role Summary:
Our client in the cpg space is presently experiencing triple digit growth.
The brand is seeking a seasoned eCommerce Growth Expert to lead the expansion of our digital channels, including Amazon, Specialty, and other key platforms.
This leader will also build and scale our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) business from the ground up, driving customer acquisition and fostering a seamless omnichannel experience. This is a pivotal role, ideal for someone with a track record of launching and scaling high-growth eCommerce businesses.
**Successful candidate must be in driving distance to Nassau County, Long Island.
Responsibilities:
Marketplace Growth and Strategy
- Lead and expand the brands eCommerce footprint on major online marketplaces (Amazon, Specialty, Walmart.com and other major marketplaces).
- Develop and execute comprehensive growth strategies focused on customer acquisition, retention, and maximizing sales velocity.
- Optimize listings, pricing strategies, and promotional initiatives to ensure top visibility and conversion rates across platforms.
- Analyze and interpret marketplace performance data to uncover new growth opportunities and drive efficiencies.
- Build and scale the DTC business from the ground up, taking ownership of the P&L, customer experience, and overall brand growth.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and customer support teams to build an experience that seamlessly integrates commerce with engaging, content-driven storytelling. Create a best-in-class, brand-centered journey that captivates customers and supports both brand loyalty and sales objectives.
- Establish and test growth levers to refine strategies and optimize outcomes based on real-time feedback and data insights.
Strategic Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as a key liaison between sales, product, marketing, and operations teams, ensuring cohesive brand messaging and strategy alignment across all digital channels.
- Provide leadership in eCommerce best practices and emerging trends, sharing actionable insights with stakeholders.
- Define and monitor KPIs, making data-driven recommendations for ongoing improvement and optimizations.
Requirements:
- 10 years of experience in eCommerce growth, ideally within CPG or a related industry.
- Proven success in launching, scaling, and optimizing eCommerce platforms and managing top-tier marketplaces like Amazon, Walmart.com and Specialty
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L in an eCommerce environment.
- Expertise in digital marketing channels, marketplace management, and eCommerce analytics.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to turn data into actionable strategies.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
