Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development through engaging activities and educational experiences. This role requires a commitment to early childhood education principles, ensuring each child’s emotional, social, and cognitive growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children to express themselves.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging social skills and emotional intelligence.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive behavior management techniques.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to support the overall educational goals of the preschool.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with early childhood education practices.
Qualifications
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in childcare settings such as daycare or preschool is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of infant care practices is a plus.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
- Strong understanding of behavior management techniques for young children.
- Ability to create engaging classroom activities that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience working with children with special needs is an advantage but not required.
