What are the responsibilities and job description for the Swim instructor position at The SwimSquad?
The Swim Squad provides private swim lessons and private party lifeguarding services at home pools throughout New Jersey.
Clients hire us, and instructors & lifeguards travel to houses to teach and lifeguard. You must have your own transportation for this position.
We are currently seeking swim instructors & lifeguards in the Loveladies, NJ area.
- Start at $20-$40 / hour part-time

- Lifeguard gigs with opportunity for generous tips at client's homes
- Choose from a long list of clients to teach
- Complete flexibility, YOU set your days and times you're available to work around another job, school, etc.
Requirements
- Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently
- Have at least 2 years experience teaching swim lessons
- Have at least 1 year experience lifeguarding
- Reliable transportation to travel to clients pool location
- Valid CPR / First Aid certification for Instructors
- Valid Lifeguard certification for lifeguarding
- Professional, courteous and enthusiastic towards clients
- You must acquire your own swim instruction and lifeguarding equipment
- Must be 18 years or older
