Position Description: Child Care Teacher
Primary Responsibilities:

Maintains the regulations and licensing standards

Follows Sycamore Tree’s policies and procedures
-
Greet children and families
-
Assists in caring for the children enrolled in the Center as needed
-
Maintain constant supervision of children in your care
-
Complete classroom records and logs
-
Maintain classroom paperwork
-
Maintaining a health and safe environment
-
Guide children’s behavior appropriately
-
Communicate effectively with parents in regards to children’s needs and development
-
Complete and implement lesson plans following center criteria
-
Observe and record children using anecdotal notes
-
Complete Parent-Teacher Conference Forms twice a year
-
Create and maintain children portfolios
-
Facilitate entire center as scheduled
-
Works as a team player
-
Provide guidance to co-workers
-
Complete required continuing education hours
-
Attend monthly staff meetings
-
Maintains professionalism in all aspects of job
Additional Requirements (we will train you and help you obtain the requirements needed):
-
Associate or Bachelor Degrees in Early Childhood or related field appreciated, but not necessary

Department approved classes OR equivalent preferred, will aid in trainings if needed
