We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at mental health residential treatment center. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment for our guests and maintaining the overall appearance of the premises.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure they meet established cleanliness standards.
- Carry out floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing as needed.
- Manage laundry services by washing, drying, folding, and delivering linens and towels.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products in guest rooms and public areas.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to implement best practices in cleaning procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries or requests in a friendly manner.
- Must comfortable serving food to residents.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and custodial practices is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- A positive attitude with strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
