We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated RN/LPN to join our healthcare team. We are behavioral health provider with a primary mental health inpatient facility in Cumming, GA. The nursing team will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. This position requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to patient well-being. The ideal candidate will be adept at working in fast-paced environments and will have experience in various aspects of patient care.
Shift: Full Time Days 7A-7P (3x12) & PRN Days
LPN: $30-35/hr
RN: $38-45/hr
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with daily living activities.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper documentation in medical records.
- Assist with triage and assess patients' conditions to determine the necessary level of care.
- Perform ostomy care, pain management, and infectious disease care as needed.
- Support patients undergoing dialysis and provide trauma medicine when required.
- Maintain accurate medical records and update patient information as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health management and treatment options.
Skills
- Proficient in medication administration and understanding of various medical protocols.
- Strong knowledge of infectious disease care practices and pain management techniques.
- Experience with the behavioral health population (SUD/MH).
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to maintain accurate medical records while ensuring confidentiality.
- Compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on enhancing patient comfort and well-being.
