About the Role:
- Lead the development and implementation of credit policies and procedures.
- Manage and monitor the bank's credit portfolio to minimize risk and maximize returns.
- Chair the Loan Classification Committee to ensure accurate risk ratings and regulatory compliance.
- Analyze credits and make informed decisions on loan approvals.
- Develop and maintain financial metrics to track loan portfolio performance.
- Provide guidance and support to loan officers and other team members.
- Collaborate with regulators and external auditors to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in finance or accounting from a four-year institution.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in leadership, credit management, and risk assessment.
- Proven expertise in consumer and commercial lending.
- Proficiency in Windows-based software, word processing, and spreadsheet applications.
- 3 years of experience as a CCO with a bank of $5B in assets or more.
