We are hiring a servant leader with a proven track record of developing teams to fill our GM role, which will lead our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have experience creating a people-first culture while driving industry-leading customer service and food quality. This position will be responsible for and direct all restaurant operations. You will maintain high standards of food service, health, and safety, while ensuring efficient and profitable business performance.
Previous experience and responsibilities include:
- Lead and develop staff with a servant leadership approach and positive energy.
- Must live in the details.
- Optimize the utilization of staff and resources.
- Develop operating goals and objectives.
- Establish and implement financial controls.
- Set and monitor budgets; analyze budget variances and take corrective actions.
- Analyze food and beverage costs and assign menu prices.
- Calculate daily restaurant receipts and reconcile with sales.
- Ensure cash management procedures are completed accurately.
- Work with the Director of Communications/Marketing to organize marketing, social media, and promotional activities.
- Extensive background in ordering and vendor relationships.
- Refine and adjust operating procedures as needed.
- Coordinate restaurant operations during each shift.
- Determine staffing requirements, recruit, and maintain proper staffing levels, train, and coach staff.
- Develop and monitor staff work schedules on an ongoing basis.
- Maintain employee records per established standards and procedures.
- Monitor adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards in the kitchen and restaurant.
- Ensure the quality of food and beverage presentation.
- Remain current with trends in the restaurant industry.
- Must have Toast POS experience.
- Previous western lifestyle exposure is a plus.
- Provide world-class support to the equestrian and events center.
- Willing to work varying shifts and schedules based upon the demands of the restaurant.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Salary : $75,000 - $78,000
