About the Role
The Facilities Maintenance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks, addressing any issues that arise, and overseeing larger projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans for facilities and equipment.
- Ensure all safety equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
- Supervise and participate in the execution of in-house maintenance, repair, and construction projects.
- Manage subcontractors and vendors to complete work efficiently and effectively.
- Coordinate snow and ice removal efforts to ensure prompt completion before business hours.
- Oversee disposal services, including solid waste, recyclables, and hazardous materials.
- Maintain and operate security systems, alarms, and fire suppression systems.
- Establish and maintain a cleaning schedule to keep facilities clean and safe.
- Collect and dispose of trash, replacing liners as needed.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Attend work regularly and perform additional duties as required.
