Events Manager
Events Manager is responsible for driving private event sales, managing state cottage, curating high-end experiences, and developing marketing strategies that position the winery as a premier destination for private gatherings. This role blends hospitality, event planning, and marketing expertise to create memorable private events while increasing brand awareness and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities :
Private Event Sales & Execution
- Oversee all private event bookings, including weddings, corporate retreats, milestone celebrations and intimate gatherings.
- Develop custom event packages that showcase the winery’s unique offerings,
including vineyard cottage, wine-paired dinners, and immersive tasting experiences.
Serve as the main point of contact for private event clients, ensuring a seamlessplanning process from inquiry to execution.
Collaborate with the management teams to design high-end, curated experiences tailored to guests’ needs.Manage event logistics, contracts, vendor coordination, and staffing to ensureflawless execution.
Estate Cottage Management & Bookings
Oversee reservations, guest experience, and operations for the estate cottage.Develop exclusive getaway packages incorporating.o Private tastings and cellar tours with the winemaker.
o Luxury in-room amenities, including personalized wine selections.
o Chef-curated dining experiences featuring local seasonal pairings.
o Wellness & relaxation add-ons, such as vineyard yoga and in-cottage spa services.
Work with hospitality team to maintain flawless guest experiences, ensuring the cottage remains an intimate, boutique destination.Partner with local tourism agencies, luxury travel concierges, and hospitality partners to position the cottage as a premier stay in wine country.Track occupancy rates, revenue trends, and guest feedback, making data-driven decisions to enhance offerings.Marketing & Lead Generation for Private Events
Develop a targeted marketing strategy to attract high-end clientele, including corporate groups, luxury event planners, and wedding coordinators.Lead digital and content marketing efforts, including social media, emailcampaigns, and website updates, to promote private event offerings.
Build partnerships with local chambers, hotels, tourism agencies, and event professionals to position the winery as a premier private event venue.Utilize data analytics to track private event inquiries, conversion rates, and ROI on marketing efforts.Brand Strategy & Experiential Marketing
Oversee the winery’s branding and messaging to ensure consistency across all private event promotions.Design exclusive VIP and corporate packages, featuring elevated experienceslike private barrel tastings, sommelier-led wine pairings, and vineyard tours.
Develop seasonal campaigns that align private events with signature winery experiences (e.g., Fall Foliage Wine & Fire, Après Wine Weekend and Workshops).Identify and capitalize on trends in luxury hospitality, destination weddings, and experiential marketing to differentiate the winery in the market.Client Relations & Guest Experience
Foster strong relationships with repeat clients, corporate partners, and wine club members by offering bespoke experiences.Ensure a high-touch client experience, with personalized communication andconcierge-level service.
Oversee post-event follow-ups, ensuring client satisfaction and encouraging referrals and repeat bookings.Revenue Growth & Performance Metrics
Establish and track private event revenue goals, adjusting sales strategies as needed.Implement cross-promotional opportunities, such as private event attendeesreceiving wine club incentives or exclusive tastings.
Monitor guest feedback and data analytics to optimize offerings and pricing structures.Team Leadership & Collaboration
Collaborate and work closely with the Tasting Room Manager, Club Director, and staff to ensure private events align with the winery’s overall brand and public event strategy.Train staff on delivering exceptional hospitality and sales techniques for private event clients.Qualifications & Skills :
5 years' experience in event sales, marketing, or luxury hospitality, preferably in a winery, high-end venue, or corporate event setting.Proven success in private event sales, branding, and marketing strategy.Strong knowledge of digital marketing, lead generation, and CRM tools (Tripleseat, TOCK & Toast)Exceptional client relations, sales, and negotiation skills.Ability to multitask and lead multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-touch environment.Strong relationships in the hospitality, corporate, and event planning industriesare a plus.
