DevSecOps Engineer (Long-Term Contract) – Fortune-Ranked Enterprise Client | Hybrid – Dallas, TX
Are you a DevSecOps expert looking for a high-impact role with a Fortune-ranked enterprise client? We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer for a long-term contract opportunity based in Dallas, TX (Hybrid) . About the Role
As a DevSecOps Engineer , you will play a pivotal role in enhancing security, automation, and scalability within the software development lifecycle. Your expertise in CI / CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, and cloud security will drive best practices and ensure seamless, secure deployments.
Key Responsibilities
Security & Compliance : Implement secure, scalable solutions to address security requirements and integrate security tools (SAST / DAST, SIEM) into the SDLC.
Automation & Infrastructure as Code : Utilize Terraform, Kubernetes, and Helm to automate multi-cloud deployments (AWS, Azure).
CI / CD Optimization : Design and enhance CI / CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD) for high-performance deployments .
Cloud & Container Security : Ensure secure architecture design and implement best practices for API and container security.
Monitoring & Incident Response : Deploy and maintain monitoring tools ( Prometheus, Grafana ) and security event management (SIEM solutions like Splunk).
Collaboration & Leadership : Work with cross-functional teams (developers, security, operations) to drive DevSecOps innovation .
Minimum Qualifications
4 years of hands-on DevSecOps experience
Strong expertise in Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Proven experience integrating security tools ( SAST / DAST, Prisma Cloud, SonarQube, SIEM tools )
Strong scripting skills ( Python, Go, Bash )
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
Industry certifications in AWS / Azure
Experience with next-gen artifact management (Artifactory, JFrog)
API Security, Container Security, and Cloud Security expertise
