About the Role
The Talent Source has been engaged to lead the search for a dynamic Director of Data & Analytics to drive our client's data strategy, governance, and analytics within a high-growth, private equity-backed environment. As a key member of the IT leadership team, this individual will design and implement a scalable data framework, ensuring seamless data integration, storage, and consumption to support strategic business objectives. This role presents a unique opportunity to shape a data-driven culture and unlock valuable insights that drive innovation and operational excellence.
This role is instrumental in unlocking predictive and affirmative analytics , optimizing business intelligence , and enhancing data governance to drive commercial success. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical expertise, and leadership acumen to build a best-in-class data organization.
Key Responsibilities
Own & execute a robust data strategy that aligns with business objectives.
Architect a scalable data framework that integrates structured and unstructured data in a modern scalable data platform.
Own & oversee the Master Data Management (MDM), Product Information Management (PIM), and Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
Implement AI / ML and predictive analytics solutions to drive data-driven decision-making.
Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Finance, Operations, and Executive Leadership to deliver actionable insights.
Build and l ead a high-performing team of data professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance & governance best practices for secure, efficient data management.
What We're Looking For
12 years of progressive data engineering and data architecture experience , with at least 5 years Data Leadership
Expertise deploying cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.).
Strong knowledge of data governance, integration, and security best practices .
Experience managing MDM, PIM, and DAM solutions .
Proven ability to scale data teams & infrastructure in a high-growth environment .
Strategic mindset with strong business acumen —ability to translate data into revenue-driving insights.
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (Computer Science, Data Science, Informatics)
Experience in private equity-backed, industrial, or distribution sectors is a plus .
