The Talent Source is excited to partner with one of the largest privately held companies in the U.S. to offer a temp-to-perm opportunity for a Senior Data Engineer . This role is a key part of our client’s ambitious S / 4 HANA transformation project , designed to revolutionize their OTC processes.
Role Overview
As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless data migration from legacy systems to SAP S / 4 HANA using the Syniti Data Management Platform . This is your chance to leverage your expertise in data migration, cleansing, and governance while working on a cutting-edge initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead data migration and cleansing activities to transition legacy system data to SAP S / 4 HANA.
- Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of data throughout the migration process.
- Perform data profiling, cleansing , and leverage tools and processes for SAP Data Management.
- Design and implement data mapping and transformation processes to align with SAP S / 4 HANA requirements.
- Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and technical teams to develop data conversion scripts, cleansing rules, and programs.
- Conduct data validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy during migration.
- Apply expertise in SAP Data Migration processes and tools, including BODS, Data Services, LTMC, DMC , and Syniti Data Management Suite (preferred).
- Leverage knowledge of SAP data structures , data migration tools, and industry best practices.
- Implement and uphold master data governance principles .
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on migration progress, issues, and resolutions.
- Strong experience in SAP Data Migration processes and tools.
- Proficiency with data management platforms, especially Syniti Data Management Suite (preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of SAP S / 4 HANA requirements and best practices.
- Experience in data profiling, cleansing, validation , and reconciliation techniques.
- Strong understanding of master data governance principles.
- Hands-on experience with SAP tools like BODS, LTMC, DMC , and Data Services .
- Familiarity with cloud-based solutions for SAP.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
