As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in financial reporting, reconciliations, and analysis, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our accounting operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional eager to enhance their skills and grow within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
General Ledger & Reconciliations
- Complete monthly reconciliations of 40 General Ledger (GL) accounts
- Review monthly BSG reconciliations for outstanding items
- Analyze sales expense reports vs. budget
- Reconcile gross profit general ledger postings
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Compile and distribute monthly financial statements & reports
- Analyze monthly GL expenses vs. prior year and identify key fluctuations
- Prepare monthly Executive Team expense reconciliations
- Generate and analyze bonus/incentive payments, bill-backs, and accruals
Banking & Incentive Program Management
- Review and reconcile bank deposit cash postings
- Track and process incentive program payments, ensuring accuracy and avoiding duplication
- Process bill-backs to suppliers for incentive programs
- Prepare monthly supplier bank reconciliations
- Process monthly revenue, PST, and commission payouts
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
Experience with journal entries, fixed assets, and reconciliations
Intermediate Excel skills
ERP experience preferred (SAP training will be provided)
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
