Labor & Delivery Nurse (RN)
Annual Salary : Estimated Pay Per Hour : $62.50
Location : Turnersville, NJ
Job Type : Travel, 13-week contract
Join the dedicated team as a Labor & Delivery Nurse. This role is crucial for providing specialized care during labor and delivery, ensuring the health and safety of both mothers and newborns. The position requires an RN with robust experience in labor and delivery settings.
Day-to-day of the role :
Work shifts are Day 3x12-Hour (07 : 00 - 19 : 00).
Provide nursing care in labor and delivery, including handling labor with vaginal or cesarean deliveries.
Engage in cervical ripening, labor induction, and management of obstetric emergencies.
Float to mother-baby unit, nursery, and assist as a baby catcher as needed.
Utilize and maintain electronic fetal monitors, IV pumps, and other necessary equipment.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor & Delivery.
Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP.
Preferred certification : AWHONN Intermediate.
Must have an active RN license.
Experience with Epic charting system.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a high-pressure environment.
Benefits :
Competitive hourly rate of $62.50.
Travel package includes an hourly rate of $28.40, weekly stipend of $1246 ($476 for meals and $770 for lodging), resulting in a gross weekly pay of $2226.
Scrubs provided; no specific color requirement.
