What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Practical Nurse - OB/GYN Clinic position at The Tampa General Hospital Foundation Inc?
Works under the direct supervision and responsibility when working in an TGHN clinic, a clinic provider or when working on a nursing unit the hospital nursing leader. Assists staff, and providers with patient care, clerical, and organizational tasks using a team-based approach in providing patient care. Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the care services. May be assigned to specific medical specialty (e.g. medical / surgical, orthopedics, telemetry, and other units) to help with patient care related to that specialty or may be expected to cross-cover multiple specialties based on competency. Works closely with supervisor to assure responsibilities defined below are fulfilled in a timely manner.Education
- Associate's Degree in NursingLicense
- Florida Practical NurseCertification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- NIHSSExperience
- Six (6) months experience in a clinical role in a healthcare facility
