**Job Summary:**
The Tampa General Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a nurse care specialist, you will be responsible for assessing and planning nursing care for patients in a 244-bed Health System Joint Commission accredited hospital.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Evaluate patients to identify their healthcare needs and develop individualized plans of care.
- Implement care plans, administer medications, and teach patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- A FL RN license and Associate Degree in Nursing are required.
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are also required.
- 2 years of acute care RN experience is preferred, but new graduates are accepted.
**Work Environment:**
The ideal candidate will have the ability to work effectively in an environment with a Level II neonatal intensive care unit, obstetric care, and a wound care center offering hyperbaric medicine programs.
