Duties/Responsibilities:
- Pulls parts and labels them correctly for upcoming service calls.
- Organizes and prioritizes parts deliveries.
- Receives and checks in parts at Service Center.
- Assists in keeping the Service Center clean and organized.
- To be responsible for designated warranty returns and defective parts and obtaining credit or reason for denial through RMB Software (including, but not limited to, Cummins MidSouth, Volvo Engines, Capacity, and Wiggins returned parts and warranty claims.
- Responsible for generating shipping forms in RMB to be used in returns and obtaining RGA?s from vendor. This includes completing online forms with serial numbers of failed components, PSO information from respective trucks, submission of claim copies, as well as completed diagnostic forms. She pulls pending warranty claims, marks these accordingly and gives them to the Warranty Supervisor.
- Organizing parts and tagging paperwork to defective parts in receiving area. Work to ensure returned parts are returned to respective vendor promptly, vendor claims are kept current, parts reviewed by Taylor personnel are disposed correctly and area is free of debris. Any unauthorized parts in the Warranty area will be reported to the Warranty Supervisor.
- Expedite specific vendor warranty claims on RMB. These outstanding credits must be kept in an up-to-date status. If claims are denied, certain claims are appealed, and he/she is responsible for collecting information and resubmitting claims to vendor through RMB.
- Coordinate vender aging reports.
- Assist with Taylor claims that are issued to vendors and coordinating appeals back to the vendors.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Basic computer skills.
- This job requires stooping, bending, climbing, and the capability of lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Incumbent must have a valid driver?s license and a good driving record, since employee will be driving company owned vehicle and will be covered under corporate insurance which has strict coverage requirements.
- Must be able to follow directions for deliveries to customers throughout our territory.
- Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) Card.
- Must be detail oriented and self-motivated.
- Microsoft Office to include Word and Excel.
- Previous experience in creating spreadsheets.
- Experience with Service Management Software would be a plus.
- Must maintain a good appearance for the company. Will be visiting customers for parts delivery.
Education and Experience:
- High School Graduate or GED Equivalent
- Previous work experience in parts, service, and warranty would be preferred
