The Product Engineer will be responsible to review customer drawings, technical manuals and specifications for the purpose of generating detailed labor and material cost estimates by work item and/or work package with respect to customer cable requirements/ solutions, as well as electrical and mechanical solutions. The Product Engineer will provide staffing recommendations for on time and on budget completion of project and track labor and material cost for ongoing work and direct interface with key production personnel, for providing quantitively feedback of cost estimating effort
The Engineer will also support the RND and New Product development initiatives for future growth. Must be able to work well under pressure and have a proven track record of on time completion of task for meeting customer deadlines.

- Support in collecting costs for new quotes which includes, and not limited to, component pricing, tooling, fixtures, equipment and packaging
- Provide consistent profitable, accurate estimating practices for Products and Engineered Components
- Proactively work towards meeting or exceeded target information when provided
- Offer value-added options when appropriate
- Accurately interpret customer drawings and technical requirements.
- Clearly communicate exceptions and or changes
- Interface with Sales, Manufacturing and quality Control to ensure best practices are up to date
- Clearly document estimating process for each item and maintain a record for future review and reference
- Work to increase the quality and breadth of product quoting capabilities with the goal of providing ongoing quoting tools to the sales group
- Research and provide technical assistance to sales and marketing and engineering on all technical requirements that are relevant to product offerings.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
- 3–5 years of experience in cost estimation, product development, or a related field within manufacturing or engineering environments.
- Valid VISA
- Advanced English proficiency
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of engineering principles.
- Proven ability to interpret customer drawings, technical manuals, and specifications.
- Proficiency in cost estimation practices, including materials, labor, tooling, and packaging.
- Exceptional knowledge and usage of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, etc.).
