```Duties```
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
- Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and briefs.
- Assist with case management and preparation for along with attendance at hearings, depositions, and trials.
- Communicate with clients, opposing attorneys, and other parties involved in legal matters.
- Participate in negotiations and settlement discussions.
- Attend court proceedings and represent and advise clients in litigation matters.
- Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
```Requirements```
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- FL Bar License.
- Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures.
- Proficiency in legal research using Westlaw or Lexis-Nexis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues, provide sound advice, and build rapport with clients.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Prior experience in legal drafting, negotiation, and litigation is preferred.
We are seeking an Associate Attorney to become a part of our team with at least 1-5 years’ experience in first-party property insurance law, preferably defense experience. Experience in liability is also preferred but not required. You will represent clients in legal proceedings, draft legal documents and provide legal advice to clients.
