Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. Key Responsibilities:
- Room Cleaning: Thoroughly clean and sanitize assigned guest rooms, including bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas, adhering to hotel standards.
- Laundry Services: Manage laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens, towels, and other hotel textiles.
- Trash Removal: Empty trash bins and replace garbage bags in guest rooms and public areas.
- Supply Management: Replenish amenities such as toiletries, towels, and linens in guest rooms.
- Maintenance Reporting: Report any maintenance issues, damages, or equipment malfunctions to the housekeeping supervisor.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for both staff and guests.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team, and excellent time-management skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 25 pounds, standing for extended periods, and bending or stooping.
- Communication: Basic communication skills in English; additional language skills are a plus.
