Job Description
What you will do in this role : Having a loved one in a medical center is stressful. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first happy face to greet our visitors and family members and make them feel at ease.
The functions are similar to that of a Welcome (reception) desk. You are greeting guests, performing clerical tasks and managing the phone lines for a busy Medical Facility.
Sample of daily duties :
- Greet and direct visitors while managing the incoming phone lines
- Create correspondence, data entry, printing, scanning, manage office supplies, and receive mail / deliveries
- Make doctor appointments for guests and arrange the transportation
- Monitor the employee door and ambulance bay entrance

Qualifications
Medical Receptionist : officially we call this job a Concierge, but in other centers it may be called a Welcome or Front Desk Receptionist.
What we need from you :
- Prior Experience in a Healthcare or Medical setting is preferable.
- Strong PC skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong Written and verbal English communication skills are required
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment physical and criminal history background check
