The Territorie is an online media website looking to bring on a Social Media Intern to join our growing team. Our publication is a fresh and modern take on new media, creating engaging content spanning fashion, beauty, culture, lifestyle, and runway.
Overview
We're seeking a talented and hardworking Social Media Intern to run and grow our social channels and overall brand. The focus of our social content is fashion, beauty, culture, art and music. In this role, you will be helping create cross-functional social content that can be used on our various social channels. You will also be responsible for communication, coordination and scheduling with various marketing agencies and brands.
Responsibilities
- Ideate, create and structure high quality social content that aligns with our brand voice and image for each channel, working closely cross-departmentally to ensure cohesive and engaging messaging
- Aid in the development and execution of comprehensive social media strategies to enhance the brand’s visibility, engagement, and growth objectives
- Aid in the creation and posting of Instagram Posts, TikTok's, Instagram Reels, Tweets and YouTube Shorts & Videos
- Manage all brand social channels and syndicate content across platforms using Metricool
- Pitch social ideas to the team weekly
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects & deadlines effectively
- Research emerging trends, opportunities, and partners that will enhance our social media activity and brand presence in a meaningful way
- Choose high-quality relevant images to match editorial content and prepare content for publishing
Qualifications
- You love social media and are up to date on the latest social trends
- You love fashion, beauty and culture and are up to date on the latest fashion trends
- You’re a fast learner and aren’t afraid to speak up when you have great ideas or input to add
- Graphic design experience to help create graphics for social is strongly preferred
- Brilliant communicator with a love for working in a small team
- You’re creative and not afraid to think outside of the box in your vision for the brand
- You have a can-do attitude and are happy to do small tasks on the fly
- You have a passion for mixing URL & IRL experiences to bridge the gap between Gen Z and Millennial consumers
- You have your finger on the pulse of what’s happening - and when you don’t, you present strong research & analytical skills to learn what’s what
- You have experience in online tools like Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Analytics, Gmail, Notion, and Slack
- Experience in social media analytics and relevant tools/software, including Canva, Metricool and Google Workspace is strongly preferred
- Previous internship experience is a plus
- Bonus points if you have experience working on a remote team!
- No previous work experience is required

The pay for this position is $16/hour.
This is a 3 month long paid and remote (Florida-based only) internship. Post successfully completed internship, you will receive a Letter of Recommendation for future roles and a permanent reference on your professional resume. The start date is flexible, with a target start date of June 17th and an internship end date of September 30th .
