Position Summary:
The Front Desk Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for patients and referral sources, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience. This role is essential for verifying insurance and benefits, registering patients, and delivering exceptional customer service to support patient satisfaction and assist the clinical team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Interaction: Serve as the first point of contact for patients and referral sources.
- Insurance & Benefit Verification: Verify insurance, communicate copays, deductibles, and coverage details.
- Patient Registration: Accurately enter patient information into the EHR system.
- Referral Processing: Contact referral sources for scheduling and follow up on pending referrals.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve inquiries related to insurance, scheduling, and registration.
- Documentation: Maintain organized records of interactions, insurance, and registration.
- Collaboration: Work with clinical and administrative teams for a seamless experience.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in a medical reception or patient intake,
- Strong understanding of insurance processes, terminology, and regulations.
- Proficiency in EHR systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
