Job Summary:
The Therapy Technician supports physical, occupational, and/or speech therapists in providing high-quality rehabilitative care to patients. Under the supervision of licensed professionals, the Therapy Tech assists in preparing treatment areas, transporting patients, maintaining equipment, and performing non-clinical tasks to ensure smooth operations and exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist therapists with non-clinical aspects of patient care (e.g., setting up equipment, helping with patient positioning).
- Assist with therapeutic exercises and interventions under the supervision of licensed professionals.
- Prepare and clean treatment areas before and after sessions.
- Maintain and organize rehabilitation equipment and supplies.
- Monitor and report patient responses during therapy to licensed staff.
- Provide clerical support, including scheduling, filing, and documenting patient attendance.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
- Promote a safe, comfortable, and professional environment for patients.
- Support other team members and contribute to a positive team culture.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional demeanor with a friendly and helpful attitude.
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Additional Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in a rehab, healthcare or childcare setting.
- Basic understanding of anatomy, body mechanics, and therapy procedures.
- CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain).
