What are the responsibilities and job description for the UI/UX Designer for Mobile Game position at The Third Cartel?
About the Role:
We’re looking for a creative and passionate UI/UX designer to collaborate on an exciting mobile game being developed in Unity. Whether you're just starting out or have years of experience, we encourage you to apply. The game is a social simulation, inspired by titles like Animal Crossing, and you'll be working on key systems such as inventory management, settings, and general user interactions.
What We're Looking For:
We need a designer who not only loves games but also deeply understands the importance of intuitive and artfully crafted UI. We're searching for someone who thinks about UI/UX beyond just functionality, and who is passionate about graphic design and art direction—key elements in creating a compelling game experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver high-quality UI elements (wireframes, assets, specs, and prototypes) that communicate gameplay effectively.
- Create clean, efficient, playful, and intuitive interfaces that enhance user experience across various game systems.
- Collaborate closely with Unity developers to ensure smooth implementation of final UI designs.
Qualifications:
- Must have a strong interest in gaming and a passion for designing game UI/UX.
- Must have a portfolio that includes sample UI mockups (either implemented or conceptual).
- Must have a solid background in graphic design.
- Experience with Unity UI Toolkit is a plus.
Why Join Us? This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the user experience of a game with social simulation elements, where UI is as much a part of the player's immersion as the gameplay itself. If you're passionate about gaming and have a keen eye for thoughtful design, we want to hear from you!
