Responsibilities:
· Ensure company HR policies and procedures comply with federal, state, and local labor laws.
· Conduct internal audits to identify and mitigate potential labor law risks.
· Advise leadership on HR legal matters, including employee classifications, wage and hour compliance, and workplace safety.
· Handle workplace investigations, grievances, and disciplinary actions while mitigating legal risks.
· Serve as a key point of contact for employee concerns, ensuring fair and legal resolutions.
· Mediate disputes between employees and management, ensuring compliance with labor laws.
· Investigate harassment, discrimination, and other employee complaints while following legal best practices.
· Draft legal documents, employment agreements, severance packages, and other HR-related contracts.
· Maintain accurate and confidential HR documentation, ensuring compliance with employment law standards.
· Oversee recruitment and hiring processes to ensure compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) laws.
· Manage employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with ERISA, FMLA, ADA, and other regulatory requirements.
· Address employee concerns regarding benefits, leaves of absence, and accommodations.
· Provide labor law training to HR staff and management to ensure compliance.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
· Paralegal certification or a background in labor/employment law (highly preferred).
· 5 years of HR experience with a strong understanding of employment law.
· Experience working in a legal or corporate HR setting handling compliance-related matters.
· Strong knowledge of FLSA, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, and other labor regulations.
· Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
