Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and readily available.
- Engage with customers, providing friendly and attentive service while taking drink orders and answering questions about the menu.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments through the CAKE POS system.
- Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service and compliance with legal regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
- Assist in brewing specialty drinks or cocktails as needed, showcasing creativity and knowledge of mixology.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in accordance with health regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in a nightclub or fine dining setting is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on hospitality and customer service.
- Familiarity with CAKE POS systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed in the hospitality industry.
- A passion for brewing techniques or cocktail creation is highly desirable.
