We provide a broad range of engineering, testing, quality control, advisory, building envelope, and forensic services, particularly in areas of waterproofing, moisture penetration, and air and water penetration. Our in-house laboratory provides routine and specialized services for the quality control of construction materials.
Job Description
Join the 2021 team in our Construction Materials Laboratory with MA Concrete Testing Laboratory #001 certification. Work on some of the most iconic buildings in New England and in our 5,000 sq. ft. laboratory south of Boston.
- Observes work in progress to ensure that procedures are followed and materials used conform to specification
- Performs standard testing on construction materials, in field and in lab
- Prepares samples of materials for laboratory testing
- Maintains daily log of construction and inspection activities and completes reports daily
Qualifications
One or more of the following professional certifications:
- ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade 1
- Aggregate Testing Technician - Level 1
- Concrete Laboratory Testing Technician - Level 1 or 2
- ACI Concrete Strength Testing Technician
- Masonry Field Testing Technician
- Masonry Laboratory Testing Technician
- ICC Special Inspector in Reinforced Concrete
- Structural Masonry
- Structural Welding
- Prestressed Concrete
- Structural Steel & Welding
- Structural Steel and Bolting
- AWS Certified Welding Special Inspector
- ICC Fireproofing Inspector
Additional Qualifications:
- Clean background check
- General computer knowledge
- Valid drivers' license with a clean record and reliable transportation
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., walk/work on uneven surfaces, and work outside in various weather conditions
- OSHA-10 Certification
- Attire appropriate with performing assigned duties safely. Work boots necessary as per ANSI Z-41. Hard hat, safety vest, and safety glasses provided.
