We are looking for a full-time Licensed Healthcare Architect to join our Charleston, WV Office. We are seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial individual who is passionate about the field of architecture and is seeking an opportunity to grow a team of professionals. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Works with project design team on projects throughout all phases of design.
- Preparation or original architectural design layouts, details, drawings, and specifications.
- Review architectural document for areas of conflict with all disciplines.
- Coordinate and integrate design work between the architectural discipline and other engineering disciplines.
- Utilize critical thinking to evaluate, select and apply design skills and techniques to project related assignments.
To be successful in this position, you will bring:
- NCARB Registered Architect
- A minimum of five (5) years’ of related experience.
- Experience with Revit Software a plus.
- Familiarity with local codes and authorities having jurisdiction.
- Knowledge of FGI Guidelines for Healthcare Facilities
- Possess the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
- Proficient with managing client/owner/contractor relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Leadership and time management skills to keep projects on schedule and on budget.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage project priorities
- Possesses the ability to mentor junior staff.
- Periodic travel will be required.
