We are seeking a detailed oriented person who is a team player and can help keep our ranch resort clean and ready for our guests!

OVERVIEW

This person will be responsible for regularly cleaning ranch facilities, cabins, and glamping tents to ensure the ranch always remains presentable and sanitary and accommodations are flipped in a timely manner between guest stays.

This position would be 40 hours/week and would start in April 2025 through October 2025, but we are flexible with start and end dates.

JOB DUTIES

• Clean and maintain assigned guest lodges (tipi's, yurt’s, glamping tents and cabins), including making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning bathrooms/bathhouses.

• Restock and replenish guest supplies, such as toiletries, towels, and linens.

• Perform general cleaning duties in public areas, including hallways, lobbies, and common spaces.

• Follow established procedures for handling and disposing of waste and hazardous materials.

• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate supervisor.

• Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.

• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.

• Provide exceptional customer service and address guests' inquiries or requests in a professional manner. Being knowledgeable about other departments offerings and hours

• Inspecting rooms prior to arrival, completing any cleaning needed

• Continually uphold top service and cleanliness standards of AVR

• Work with and direct additional housekeeping staff.

REQUIREMENTS

As Ranch Housekeeper, you must be hard-working, reliable, and focused on providing exceptional customer service. You must also be highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Previous experience cleaning homes or other large facilities, preferred

• Demonstrated knowledge of general janitorial work

• Knowledge of safety measures when using various cleaning chemicals

• Basic computer proficiency including the ability to use email and internet

• Clean driving record, current driver’s license

• Attention to detail and willingness to learn and grow

• Good physical health and stamina and the ability to pick up and carry up to 40 lbs

• Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards

• Ability to work in wet, cold and snow. We are located in the mountains at 8,200 feet elevation

• Outgoing, approachable and friendly demeanor.

• Positive and proactive approach to teamwork and working with others

• Must be able to work in a fast paced and ever-changing environment.

• Work in a safe and responsible manner at all times.

• Flexible when it comes to the needs of the Ranch

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially when resolving guest complaints in a positive manner.

• Able to work a flexible schedule, including some nights, weekends and holidays

Pay and Benefits:

• $15-$18hr, Full-time is typically 40-50 hours
