Brief Job Summary:
The Laundry Department is essential for the hotel's smooth operation. Without a competent Laundry team, the housekeeping and front desk departments suffer. The Laundry Attendant holds the crucial task of ensuring that the housekeeping team is fully equipped for their daily duties. This involves preparing laundry in advance and stocking linen closets efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Guest experience: A Laundry Attendant, even in a janitorial role, plays a crucial role in ensuring the guests' satisfaction. This job includes restocking items and retrieving linens from the hallways, while also proactively greeting guests and providing directions if needed.
- Housekeeping assistance: The Laundry Attendant's main duty is to support the housekeeping team by managing laundry and other essential supplies, collecting used linens, and helping with extensive cleaning tasks as needed.
- Inventory: The Laundry Attendant is in charge of managing inventory for all types of linen. This includes keeping track of lost inventory caused by damages.
- Communication: It is the Laundry Attendant’s responsibility to communicate all inventory issues, ordering needs, or maintenance repairs to their direct supervisor.

- Communication skills - guests may seek you out with questions and/or concerns, so be approachable!
- Flexibility - Must be available to work some weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Must be able to stand a minimum of 8 hours, and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Must be a fast-paced worker
- Ability to multitask
- Must be a team player
- Must be at least 18 years old
