**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Assistant Manager to join our dynamic retail team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the overall operations of the store, including sales, customer service, and inventory management. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about retail and are looking to take their career to the next level.
**Responsibilities**
- Assist the Store Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the store
- Oversee sales and customer service, ensuring a positive and welcoming shopping experience for customers
- Manage the store's inventory, including receiving, and stocking merchandise
- Use point-of-sale (POS) systems to process transactions and manage cash and credit transactions
- Provide leadership and guidance to sales associates, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration
- Analyze sales trends and make recommendations to the Store Manager to improve sales performance
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Participate in visual merchandising and display initiatives to drive sales
- Ensure all sales associates are knowledgeable about products and can provide excellent customer service
- Manage and maintain store displays and signage
- Oversee sales management and sales associate training
- Conduct sales audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Provide support and guidance to sales associates during peak sales periods
**Experience**
- One year proven experience as a Retail Assistant Manager or in a related management role
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of sales associates
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and vendors
- Experience with POS systems and payroll management
- Knowledge of retail operations, including sales, inventory management, and customer service
- Ability to negotiate and sell products effectively
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- High school diploma or equivalent required

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
