What are the responsibilities and job description for the C# Developer / Back-End position at The Timberline Group?
This person will be engaged with several teams to deliver customer facing applications in a fast-paced setting. The applications created will be used across multiple industries to provide both qualifying and continuing education for professionals. Our teams deliver software and features using the Agile methodology.

- Work with other team members (in multiple time zones across the globe)
- Implement services using .Net stack
- Work within architectural guidelines
- Create and use unit testing to ensure correct functionality
- End to End and Integration testing
- Deliver APIs to be consumed by customer facing applications
- Participate in / perform code reviews
- Mentoring and coaching of more junior team members
- Work with GitHub as a source code repository
- Work with the team using standard git-flow
Prior Experience and Skills Required:
- Education – Bachelor’s degree or 5 years’ experience required
- Extensive experience in .Net (C#) required
- Familiarity with .Net Core 6 and the latest .Net Framework
- No team leadership requirements
- Demonstrated effectiveness in creating applications using
- C#
- Entity Framework
- Cloud services (Primary is AWS – or Azure/GCP equivalents)
- ECS
- Lambdas
- API Gateway
- Secret Manager
- Strong SQL experience (MS SQL Server)
- Redis / Caching
- SignalR / Websockets experience is a plus
- VB.Net is a plus
- Developing for Docker containers is a plus
- Good communication using English as the primary language
