Position Summary:
CNC Grinder is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC grinding machines to produce precision bearing components. This role involves reading blueprints and work instructions to grind parts to specified tolerances, ensuring high-quality products that meet company and industry standards. The CNC Grinder must also perform in-process inspections using precision measurement tools to verify dimensions and adjust maintain accuracy throughout the production.
Job Responsibilities:
Set up, programs, and operates CNC Grinder (Cinternal) machine to grind cylindrical, tapered, and spherical surfaces.
Must be very understanding of shop drawings and be able to plan operations by appropriate sequence.
Must be to use gauging i.e., ID and OD micrometers, dial calipers, dial indicators, jo-blocks, surface analyzers and some use of a CMM.
Will be responsible for general maintenance of the CNC Grinder
Operates machine daily producing a productive, quality product as quickly and efficiently as possible while maintaining safety requirements.
Properly follows all ISO guidelines and computer system functions.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment.
Follow all safety protocols and company policies, including wearing required safety glasses and steel-toed shoes on the production floor.
Perform other duties as assigned.
