A packer / sorter also known as a "Cell Operator" performs an array of functions including but not limited to packing, sorting and inspecting parts.
Shifts Available for Immediate Hire :
1st shift : 7 : 30am - 3 : 40pm
2nd shift : 3 : 30pm - 11 : 40pm
GGB by Timken is a manufacturer of high performance bearings. The position will be in a union environment. The current hourly rate is $27.37 with an additional $1.58 shift differential when working on 2nd or 3rd shift.
Job Duties Include :
Hand Deburring Parts one at a time to ensure each part passes quality inspection
Machine Deburring Parts by placing a quantity of parts into a machine and monitoring the process from start to end
Washing Parts placing a quantity of parts into a machine and monitoring the process from start to end
Visual inspection of parts to ensure each part passes quality inspection
Packing parts into boxes
Systemic Posting and tracking orders within SAP
Able to operate standards in Safety
Responsible for consistent part quality and ability to interact positively with team members to obtain that quality & product flow
Housekeeping to 5s standards
Attention to Detail
Qualifications :
High School Diploma or Equivalent is Required
Able to lift up to 35 pounds
