What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Business Analyst II position at THE TIRE RACK, INC?
Tire Rack is seeking an IT Business Analyst II to serve as the bridge of communications between business stakeholders and IT software development staff. The BA is responsible for facilitating discussions, analyzing processes, identifying opportunities, and recommending IT solutions to improve efficiency and align with business goals. The BA must then accurately document and communicate this need to the IT development staff to produce a solution that will ensure expectations are met.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
This is a remote role however we do require minimal or occasional travel to our head quarter in South Bend, IN for meetings, projects or training as needed.
WORK AUTHORIZATION
- Must be a U.S citizen or have authorization to work in the United States. We do not offer sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
- RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Elicit business requirements for enhancement requests.
- Create/maintain Business Requirement documents including BRD and functional design.
- Facilitate review of requirements with business users, development, and QA staff.
- Secure approval of functional design.
- Support the development and testing of deliverables.
- Assist with user acceptance testing plan.
- Document existing processes for other IT staff reference.
- Help facilitate a sound SDLC
- Produce reports to support business decisions.
- Participate in project intake review and project backlog review.
- Capture workflows with visual flowcharts
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or Information Technology or 3 years experience as a Business Analyst.
- Understanding of supply chain and/or logistics preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, self-motivated with the capacity to work under pressure of tight deadlines.
- Moderate to advanced Excel skills
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Ability to work 8am to 5pm EST
