Responsibilities:
- Facilitate process improvements and develop strategies to streamline inventory management practices.
- Prepare and report on inventory performance, including fill rates, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Analyze inventory trends, stock levels, and order patterns to minimize out-of-stock and overstock situations.
- Forecast future inventory needs using historical data and market trends.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely, accurate orders and resolve supply chain issues.
- Develop strategies to optimize stock levels while balancing product availability and capital efficiency.
- Evaluate inventory operations and create process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Complete inventory audits and examine discrepancies to maintain data accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in supply chain management, procurement, or logistics.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large sets of data and generate meaningful insights.
- Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to senior management and working with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel (macros, pivot tables, lookups, index-match).
- Experience with inventory management systems or ERP software is a plus.
- Experience with Python programming is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
