What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Associate position at The Titan Works?
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Associate to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our 700,000 square foot warehouse. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance, demonstrating the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. The Maintenance associate is responsible for all building maintenance related duties. This includes light troubleshooting and major repair work as needed.
Work Hours: Monday to Friday from 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM, 2 Saturday a month from 07:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Compensation: This hourly, non-exempt position pays from $22 to $25 per hour, with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the base rate. New hires usually earn between $47,645 and $63,260 annually, or more, depending on experience, overtime hours, and bonuses.
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to complete the following essential duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible for minor building maintenance repairs.
- Perform carpentry and plastering.
- Paint, remodel, and repair the flooring.
- Complete installations and demolitions through the facility.
- Responsible for general clean up.
- Conduct the equipment checklist and preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Perform additional duties as required and or requested.
- Maintenance of sit-down scrubber machine
Additionally the candidate must meet the following Education and/or Experience requirements:
- High School or GED education required.
- 3-5 years of Maintenance experience.
- Effective communication skills
- Troubleshooting abilities
- Must have previous maintenance experience.
- Must be able to work in a team environment and/or with little supervision.
- Electrical and plumbing experience as well as a technical certificate is a plus.
- Forklift and warehouse experience preferred.
- Knowledge of using computer or tablet a plus.
