Key Responsibilities
- Represent plaintiffs and defendants in civil litigation cases.
- Handle real estate litigation, including disputes over property rights and transactions.
- Address cases involving fraud, breach of contract, and negligence.
- Manage usury claims and disputes involving excessive interest charges.
- Resolve partnership and shareholder disputes.
- Conduct business litigation, including cases involving trade secrets and other commercial issues.
- Provide strategic legal advice and develop litigation strategies.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Engage in discovery processes, including depositions and interrogatories.
- Represent clients in court, mediation, and arbitration proceedings.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Texas.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in civil litigation.
- Proven experience in plaintiff and defendant representation.
- Strong background in real estate litigation, fraud, breach of contract, and negligence.
- Experience with partnership/shareholder disputes.
- Expertise in business litigation and trade secrets.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Strong courtroom presence and trial experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Familiarity with Texas-specific civil laws and procedures.
