The Toasted Yolk Cafe is a full service neighborhood eatery featuring reimagined interpretations of traditional breakfast and lunch classics. The menu is tailored to guide you through your day from breakfast to lunch, with seasonal offerings and specialty coffees/cocktails to keep you refreshed.

GM Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our restaurant and ensure exceptional service and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for the culinary arts, and a deep understanding of restaurant management. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the establishment, from kitchen management to front-of-house operations, ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Essential Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of daily restaurant operation, ensuring the highest standards in food preparation, service, safety and cleanliness.
• Oversee front of house, kitchen and management team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages teamwork, communication and ongoing training/development, all while focused on operational efficiency.
• Oversee inventory management practices to minimize waste and control cost of goods. Manage invoices and weekly financials for prompt processing.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships.
• Compliant with all internal Quality, Service, Cleanliness standards and audits, as well as internal Safety/Sanitation and Alcohol audits.
• Compliant with all external audits from local municipalities and third party auditors in the same (but not limited to) the fields noted above.
• Address all guest related inquiries or complaints promptly, maintaining the highest levels of satisfaction.
• Develop and implement promotional strategies to drive sales and retain guests.
• Develop and maintain a team of trainers in each department to ensure restaurant can train self sufficiently.

General Experience & Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Authorized to work to in United States
• At least 5 years of restaurant experience, preferably as a General Manager
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in both culinary execution and operational processes.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
• MART Certified (Managers' Alcohol Responsibility Training)
• ServSafe Certified

*Note on Training - Paid training will be completed offsite for 6 weeks, with travel and accommodations covered by the employer. Must be able to accommodate offsite training if offered the position.
