Role Summary
Event operations staff at Fifth Third Field and Hensville Park are seasonal/part time roles that provide assistance to the Ballpark and Event Operations Coordinator. Event operations staff are responsible for various tasks and jobs in and around Fifth Third Field and Hensville Park before, during, and after games and non-gameday events such as concerts, festivals, camps, holiday parties, etc. The position will begin in early to mid-March and will end around mid to late September. This role works varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists the Game and Event Operations Coordinator with preventive maintenance including power washing, fixing stadium seats, suite cleanliness and furniture.
- Conduct cleaning walkthroughs, relaying all findings to the cleaning crew.
- Maintain and follow up with lost and found inquiries.
- Assist with tarp pulls when necessary.
- Set up/tear down for all party/event spaces and main concourses.
- Maintaining inventory of pocket schedules, dining guides, wayfinding signing.
- Assists in all events pertaining to Fifth Third Field and Hensville Park.
- Learn property layout to become capable of directing any guests, contractors, personnel throughout the stadium.
- Assists in inventory management of operational items (chairs, tables, table skirts, stage banners, etc.).
- Assist in keeping 5/3 field and Hensville secured before and after operations with proper lockdown of facilities.
- Keep an upbeat atmosphere before, during, and after games.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience working in operations or maintenance desired but not required.

- Excellent communication skills, ability to interact with customers and co-workers.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment
- Constand bending, standing and walking for the duration of the shift.
- Frequently climbs stairs while fixing seats or power washing.
- Will work indoors and outdoors in different types of weather (Ex. Rain, Hot, Cold).
- General labor including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).
