Kindergarten Teacher
The Tome School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join our educational team. The Kindergarten Teacher will work closely with students, parents, and staff to ensure a nurturing and supportive classroom atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Educate students in foundational subjects such as literacy, math, and social skills through interactive and hands-on activities.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Provide early intervention strategies for students who may require additional support in their learning journey.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, classroom activities, and any concerns that may arise.
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and collaboration among students.
Qualifications
- Experience working with students in an educational setting preferred.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom environment.
- Background in early childhood education or related field is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated skills in classroom management .
- Familiarity with early intervention practices to support diverse learners.
- A genuine passion for educating young children and fostering their love for learning.
