Business Development Specialist – Luxury NYC Real Estate Team

Part-Time (20 hrs / week, potential for growth based on performance)

We are seeking a strategic, well-connected, and creative  Business Development Specialist  to help expand our real estate team’s network and clientele, particularly among  high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs)  and their representatives.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of  NYC’s cultural and events scene , exceptional relationship-building skills, and a proactive mindset. While a real estate license is not required, familiarity with the industry is preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and refine a  business development strategy , integrating existing and new initiatives.
  • Identify and execute new  networking opportunities , including  events to attend, clubs to join, and key industry connections to cultivate .
  • Strengthen and expand our  database of long-term contacts  through both traditional and innovative relationship-building methods.
  • Spearhead  event planning  and  guest list curation  to engage potential clients and referral sources.
  • Research and secure  speaking engagements, podcast interviews, and industry events  to enhance team exposure.
  • Oversee and manage  client gifting efforts  for holidays, birthdays, and other key occasions.
  • Collaborate with the  marketing team  to enhance the branding and visibility of the team and team leader (excluding property listings).

Ideal Candidate Will Have :

  • Strong knowledge of NYC’s  social, cultural, and event landscape .
  • A  strategic mindset  and ability to identify and cultivate high-value relationships.
  • Experience in  business development, luxury sales, event planning, or a related field .
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and  execute high-level initiatives independently .
  • Familiarity with  high-net-worth clientele and their expectations .
  • Exceptional  communication and networking skills .
  • Additional Details :

  • Part-time role (20 hours per week) , with potential for growth based on performance and results.
  • Potential for hybrid flexibility, but  must be based in NYC  and have  deep knowledge of the city’s culture and key networks .
