Join The Tool Ranch team as an Outside Sales Representative, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and expanding our customer base. As a dynamic and results-oriented individual, you will be responsible for promoting our comprehensive range of tools and equipment to customers across designated territories.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue opportunities within assigned territories.
2. Prospect and generate leads through networking and referrals to identify potential customers and business opportunities.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, contractors, tradespeople, and industry professionals to foster repeat business and customer loyalty.
4. Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions to showcase the features and benefits of our tools and equipment to prospective clients.
5. Provide personalized product recommendations and solutions tailored to meet the specific needs and requirements of customers.
6. Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotes and pricing to secure new business and drive sales growth.
7. Collaborate with internal teams, including customer service, marketing, and inventory management, to ensure seamless order processing and customer satisfaction.
8. Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities for business expansion.
10. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management using CRM software, and provide regular reports to management.
Qualifications:
1. Proven track record of success in outside sales roles, preferably within the tool distribution or construction industry.
2. Strong sales acumen with the ability to identify customer needs, overcome objections, and close sales effectively.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
4. Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to prospecting and lead generation.
5. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to prioritize tasks and meet sales targets.
6. Technical aptitude and product knowledge of tools and equipment, with the ability to convey technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
7. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel within assigned territories.

Physical Requirements

Compensation: Starting pay between $45,000 to $65,000 annually with monthly commissions.
