About the Role
The Toro Company seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair electrical and electronic systems, equipment, and facilities. This position requires strong technical skills and ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment, including control panels, junction boxes, switches, electronic control devices, hydraulics, mechanical drives, and other machine tools.
- Diagnose and correct mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Work from diagrams, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate implementation of maintenance tasks.
- Replace, adjust, and calibrate components to meet operating specifications.
- Use diagnostic equipment to test circuitry and components.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Vocational/trade school or equivalent training in electrical/electronics, hydraulics, mechanical drives, pneumatics, electro-mechanical principles, machine operations, CNC machine controls, or equivalent work experience is necessary.
- Trade knowledge in plumbing, welding, and mechanical processes is desirable.
Working Conditions
This role involves occasional heavy lifting and working from awkward positions. It also involves frequent exposure to fumes, solvents, grease/oil, noise, and working at varying heights.
