Job Title: Production Team Lead
Summary:
Exmark is the leading manufacturer of commercial mowers and equipment for landscape professionals.
As a Production Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing production operations to ensure efficient and effective workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Estimate, requisition, and inspect materials to meet production goals
- Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations
- Manage inventory levels and collaborate with the purchasing department as needed
- Implement Lean methodologies to improve production methods, tools, and equipment maintenance
- Meet production quotas and maintain quality standards
- Train new employees and assist in driving the job rotation program
- Provide input on performance appraisals, employee rewards, disciplinary actions, and addressing complaints
Requirements:
- 1-3 months of related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and production work orders
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in various units of measurement
