This includes establishing time standards for direct labor operations, designing assembly tooling and equipment, and implementing lean manufacturing principles. Key Responsibilities:
- Establish engineered time standards for direct labor operations
- Design and implement efficient assembly processes and tooling
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve production issues and improve product quality
- Analyze plant layout and coordinate changes to achieve lean production goals
- Perform value analysis engineering activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 2-7 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Strong understanding of heavy machinery manufacturing processes
- Knowledge or experience with assembly tooling and/or equipment design
- Microsoft software, SAP or equivalent knowledge
- Basic CAD experience (ACAD, Creo, Windchill, etc.)
