Job Summary
The Toro Company is seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team in a challenging and rewarding role. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by receiving, storing, and shipping materials and products efficiently.
Duties and Responsibilities
As a Material Handler, your primary responsibilities will include operating power equipment such as lift trucks, standup lift trucks, and overhead steel cranes to receive, count, move, ship, and locate parts, material, jigs, tower fixtures, dies, and scrap tanks within various locations in the facility. You will also be responsible for checking brakes, wheels, steering, oil leaks, and other conditions related to safe operation.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a High School diploma or equivalent, core skills training in basic shop math, measuring tools, and blueprint reading or demonstrated equivalent knowledge. Additionally, you must be able to push, pull, lift, stack pallets, etc. up to 10 pounds frequently.
