Under general supervision, this position provides shift-based supervision of seasonal facilities and the associated participants and staff.

Adheres to the Town of Parker Cash Handling Policy & Procedure.Responsible for Concessions/Front Desk opening and closing procedures to include daily cash counting, credit card and check reconciliation.Responsible for the safe, clean, and efficient front desk and concession operations of a seasonal Recreation Facility during the assigned shift. Provides excellent customer service. Utilizes resources to effectively serve customers and remedy complaints or conflicts in a professional manner.Supervises part-time frontlineemployees during the assigned shift. Assists Recreation Coordinators I or II with hiring, evaluating performance, training, disciplinary procedures, and employee recognition. Educates and ensures adherence to policies and procedures. Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with internal and external customers.Responds to emergency situations, provides appropriate care, and completes necessary reports and communication.Assists with the completion of shift-based facility maintenance, inspection, and cleaning checklists.Ensures assigned facility, venues, and building equipment is in proper working order to maintain safe conditions for patrons and staff.Adheres to effective safety and risk management practices, and Health Department Standards; assists the Recreation Coordinator I or II with enforcing departmental policies and emergency response procedures. Conducts routine site walkthroughs, identifying and remedying realized or potential safety, maintenance, cleanliness or inventory concerns. Reports findings to supervisor.Oversees and participates in setup, teardown, and cleanup of various programs, activities, rentals, and special events.Performs other related duties as assigned.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with a disability to perform the essential duties.Tools & EquipmentRequires frequent use of general office equipment, recreational equipment (i.e., aquatics equipment, lifesaving equipment, pool equipment, ice maintenance equipment and/or concession supplies).Physical DemandsRequires regular sitting, standing, walking, talking, handling, feeling or operating objects, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Requires occasional reaching with hands and arms, climbing and balancing. Requires moderate physical activity with heavy lifting, up to fifty (50) pounds. Requires close and distance vision acuity and the ability to adjust focus, allowing a broad field of vision. EnvironmentWork is performed in both climate-controlled offices and open-air environments, employees holding this position may be exposed to extreme cold or heat and wetness/humidity. The noise level is usually high and may range from moderate to extreme. The employee may occasionally work with or around hazardous items or hazardous conditions such as mechanical equipment, electrical equipment, chemicals, or radiant energy.Part-time and Seasonal Town of Parker employees have limited access to benefits which include: employee assistance program (EAP), one (1) hour of sick time accrued for every thirty (30) hours worked, and employee plus one (1) other member in your household a membership to the Parker Recreation Center and/or Fieldhouse.
